On the 19th of May, our Grade 5 students took to the stage for a very special end-of-year musical performance in English — and what a show it was!

After weeks of rehearsals, learning lines, practising songs, and preparing dances, the students were finally ready to perform in front of their families and teachers, who attended in large numbers and filled the room with applause and encouragement.

The audience enjoyed three plays in English, including Cinderella, The Stationery Store, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Each play was accompanied by a selection of songs, showing just how much work and enthusiasm the students had put into the project.

It was amazing to hear the students singing classics such as Do-Re-Mi and My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music, as well as Wouldn’t It Be Loverly from My Fair Lady, while also bringing plenty of modern energy to the stage with songs like Count on Me by Bruno Mars and Roar by Katy Perry.

From colourful costumes to dramatic acting and background music, the students performed with enthusiasm and big smiles throughout the show.

A huge congratulations to all of our Grade 5 students for their hard work and fantastic performances. They truly shone on stage and gave us all an evening to remember.
